The shelter will be closed to the public all day today to celebrate Independence Day. The shelter will be open Friday, July 5 from 5:00-8:00 PM. Have a happy 4th of July holiday!

Tuesday, July 9 | Fundraiser at Crumbl Cookies

Wanna feed that sweet tooth? Join us for a fundraising event at Crumbl Cookies in Crystal Lake on Tuesday, July 9. We will have a table outside of Crumbl, selling our homemade toys and other goodies.

Sunday, July 14 | Drive-Up Nail Trims at Purrfect Cat Rescue
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Come on out to the shelter for our monthly drive-up nail trim event — $5 cat nail trims while you wait in the car. This event is for previous Purrfect Cat Rescue adopters only. (We will still have our regular nail trim event at Thomas’ Tails later this month.)

Thursday, July 18 | Chow & Meow Fundraiser at Culver’s
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Skip cooking dinner and leave it to Culver’s! Join us for a Chow & Meow fundraiser event at Culver’s in Crystal Lake on Thursday, July 18. 15% of the proceeds will benefit Purrfect Cat Rescue. (If you do not show the flyer or mention Purrfect Cat Rescue when ordering, we will not get credit on the sale and lose out on the donation.) We will also have a table at the restaurant, selling our homemade toys, quilts / blankets, and beds.

Saturday, July 27 | Fundraiser at Crystal Lake Farmers Market
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Stop on by the Downtown Crystal Lake Farmers Market to fill your Saturday with farm-fresh goodness — a delightful experience filled with local flavors, artisan makers, and vibrant energy. We will have a table at the Farmers Market, selling homemade cat and dog toys, quilts and blankets, and beds.

Saturday, July 27 | Johnsburg Public Library
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Stop on by the Johnsburg Public Library today for a couple games of Kitty Bingo and to hear our very own William (from “The William and Simba Adventures”) read his book “Night of the Missing Queen.”

Sunday, July 28 | Nail Trims at Thomas’ Tails
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Come on out to Thomas’ Tails in Crystal Lake for our monthly nail trim program — $5 trims for any animal and the proceeds go back to Purrfect Cat Rescue.
