Purrfect Cat Rescue is doing a product donation drive at the Crystal Lake Jewel-Osco to help stock the shelter shelves with the supplies we need the most. Grab one of our wish lists and pick up a little something for the shelter, then drop it off in our box at the front of the store. The kitties say thank you!

Come on out to Thomas’ Tails in Crystal Lake for our monthly nail trim program — $5 trims for any animal and the proceeds go back to Purrfect Cat Rescue.

Friday, July 30 | Boy Scout Troop 347 Fundraiser

Skip making dinner tonight and come on out to Panda Express in Crystal Lake! Boy Scout Troop 347 is raising money to fix our cat trees at Purrfect Cat Rescue.

Volunteers are an important part of our mission to give every cat a chance at a forever home. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to save as many kitty lives.

Volunteering looks great on a college application or job resume, but it’s also a great way to give back to your community. There are many opportunities to volunteer your time to the shelter:

  • Cat care

  • Community Outreach

  • Crafting

  • Events

  • Fostering

  • Fundraising

  • Gardening

  • Vet transport

Join us at the Volunteer Open House to learn more about these opportunities. (The Open House will be held outside at the shelter.)

To become a Purrfect Cat Rescue volunteer, please fill out our volunteer form online or come to the Open House.

Saturday, May 8 | Anniversary Celebration at Jax Auto & Tire
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Come say hello to us and help us celebrate Jax Auto & Tire's 5-year anniversary on Saturday! It's gonna be a great time! Jax Auto & Tire is just a few buildings down from us north on Rt 31 — 5220 S. Route 31 in Crystal Lake.

We will have a table with information on adopting your next purrfect cat or kitten, and we’ll also be selling water and soda. (The drink are being donated by Jax Auto & Tire so all sales go directly back to Purrfect Cat Rescue! Thank you, Jax!)
